Walu Bay is the working port and industrial fringe northwest of the centre — fish factories, the boatyards, the cargo wharves where the inter-island ferries leave, and the Royal Suva Yacht Club. Not picturesque, but if you are catching a ferry to the outer islands you will pass through it.
The yacht club bar is one of the more enjoyable places in town for a sundowner, with views across the harbour to the hills behind.
