The 91st operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, dedicated in 2000 by Gordon B. Hinckley. The building sits on a low ridge in the suburb of Tamavua, north of the centre, and is recognisable by its pale stone and the single golden statue of the Angel Moroni on the spire.
The temple interior is not open to non-members, but the gardens and visitor centre are, and the elevated position gives a good view back over the city. The Mormon community is the largest minority denomination in Fiji and the temple is one of the most architecturally striking modern buildings in Suva.
