Founded in 1801 under Napoleon, this is one of the finest public art collections in France. The permanent collection spans the Renaissance to the Impressionists with close to 300 European paintings. Located in the Jardin de la Mairie behind the Town Hall. Free on the first Sunday of the month, under 6 euros otherwise. Closed on major holidays.
