Deutsches Museum Nürnberg is the Deutsches Museum's Nuremberg branch, set in the Augustinerhof complex in the old city. Instead of retelling the full history of technology, it looks forward: robotics, artificial intelligence, energy, medicine, mobility, and the everyday choices that might shape the next few decades.
The museum is hands-on and contemporary, so it makes a good counterweight to Nuremberg's medieval walls and heavy Second World War history. Allow more time than the compact city-centre location suggests; the best exhibits invite argument as much as button-pushing.
