The vast unfinished complex southeast of the city centre where the Nazi Party held its annual mass rallies from 1933 to 1938. The centerpiece is the half-built Congress Hall — modelled on the Colosseum and intended to seat 50,000 — which still stands as one of the largest surviving examples of Nazi architecture. The grandstand from which Hitler addressed the rallies also remains. A documentation centre inside the north wing provides thorough historical context.
