Pešića Lake

A small glacial lake at about 1,838 metres on the eastern shoulder of the Bjelasica massif, reached by a 2-3 hour hike from the Cmiljača trailhead near Andrijevica. The lake is roughly circular, shallow, and surrounded by open alpine pasture grazed by sheep and the occasional shepherd's hut. Hellebore and gentian bloom in early summer.

The walk in is unspectacular but the lake itself is one of the most quietly beautiful in Montenegro — fewer visitors than Biogradsko, no infrastructure, complete silence. Wild camping is permitted; the surrounding pastures make excellent tent sites. Bring water, food, and warm layers; weather changes fast at this altitude.
