De Wenumse Molen is a small but characterful heritage stop north of Apeldoorn, where the Wenumse Beek still gives the old mill its setting. The site is associated with grain milling and later saw work, and local preservation efforts keep the machinery and waterside complex from becoming just scenery.
It is not a major museum, but it makes a good low-key addition to a cycling route through Wenum-Wiesel or the greener edge of Apeldoorn. Check opening or demonstration times before making a special trip, since the charm depends heavily on seeing the mill as a working monument rather than a closed building.
