☰Delfshaven

This small historic harbour neighbourhood survived the 1940 bombing and feels like a different city entirely. Narrow streets, old warehouses along the Voorhaven canal, and the Pelgrim brewery -- which still brews Rotterdam's oldest beer. It was from Delfshaven that the Pilgrim Fathers departed for the New World in 1620. Take the metro to Delfshaven station and allow a couple of hours to wander.
