FutureLand is the visitor centre for the Port of Rotterdam's Maasvlakte 2 expansion, far out on the working edge of the harbour. Exhibits explain how the reclaimed port area was built and how one of Europe's busiest gateways operates, with interactive models, films, and displays on ships, containers, land reclamation, and logistics.
It is a deliberate trip rather than a casual city-centre stop. Come if you are interested in ports, engineering, or the scale of Rotterdam's industrial waterfront.
