The Kopisch Bleachery, or Bielnik Kopischa, belongs to the first chapter of industrial Łódź. Long before the huge mill empires made the city famous, this area around Tymienieckiego Street was connected with textile finishing, water power, and the early manufacturing settlement that reshaped a small town into a factory city.
The building is a specialist stop rather than an obvious crowd-pleaser, but it fits well into a walk through Księży Młyn and the city's industrial architecture. Look for it as a fragment of origins: modest in scale, historically dense, and easy to miss if you only chase the grand red-brick palaces.
