Łódź Palm House

Historic greenhouse in Źródliska Park, filled with palms and warm-weather plants.

The Łódź Palm House is a glassy, humid pause from the brick factories and grand industrial streets that define much of the city. It stands in Źródliska Park and shelters old palms, tropical plants, succulents, and seasonal displays under a set of greenhouse halls.

It is not a major museum, but it is a pleasant, distinctive stop when you are already exploring the Księży Młyn and park side of Łódź. In winter it is especially welcome: a warm hour among broad leaves while the city outside does its grey Central European thing.
