The Mikhail Krug Monument is a very Russian kind of local landmark: a bronze singer on a bench, dedicated to a hugely popular chanson performer from Tver. Krug's music is not to everyone's taste, but his local fame is real and the monument is constantly photographed.
It stands on Tryokhsvyatskaya Street, so you do not need to make a special trip. Sit beside the statue for the obligatory photo, then keep walking toward the Volga.
