The Museum of Tver Life is smaller and more intimate than the main regional museum. It focuses on domestic interiors, merchant households, crafts, samovar culture, and the everyday objects that made up respectable provincial life.
It is a good counterweight to the grander imperial story. The exhibits are easier to enjoy if you have some Russian or a translation app, but the rooms and objects are readable enough on their own.
