A 14th-century aristocratic mansion in the northern part of the old town, famous above all for its twelve courtyards — each one different, each one a small horticultural essay in Cordoban patio style. If you can't visit during the May patios festival, this is the next best thing: open year-round, with a fountain in nearly every courtyard and orange trees, jasmine, and bougainvillea spilling over walls. You can buy a ticket for the courtyards alone or pay extra for the guided tour of the house itself.
