The largest public park in Arrecife, a long landscaped strip along the seafront with palms, ponds, a small bandshell, and the bronze busts of local notables that the town keeps adding. Behind it stands the modernist Gran Hotel — for years the tallest building on the island and a useful landmark.
A pleasant break in a half-day walking the centre, especially in the early afternoon when the shops close for siesta and the rest of the city goes quiet.
