Cala de l'Almadrava

Small rocky cove below Serra Gelada, known for clear water and snorkelling

Cala de l'Almadrava is one of the smaller coves on Benidorm's eastern side, tucked below the Serra Gelada rather than spread out under the high-rise beachfront. The beach is short and partly rocky, with clear water and seabed that make it better for swimming and snorkelling than for a long sandy lounge.

Access is on foot and can feel awkward compared with the main urban beaches, which is precisely why it stays more appealing. Bring water shoes if you have them, avoid rough sea days, and treat it as a quiet cove stop rather than a full-service beach club.
