La Creu is the hilltop cross above Benidorm, reached by road or a steep walk from the resort edge. From the top, the city's towers, beaches, and surrounding mountains line up in a way that makes Benidorm's strange geography suddenly clear.
Go early, late, or in cooler months; the exposed climb can be punishing in summer heat. The viewpoint is especially good at sunset, when the resort lights begin to come on below.
