Puig Campana is the great inland shape behind Benidorm's towers, a steep limestone mountain that makes the resort skyline look suddenly small. It is a serious hike rather than a beach-town stroll, with rough ground, exposure, and a summit view that runs over the Costa Blanca and the mountains behind it.
Go only with proper footwear, water, and a weather check; heat and loose stone can make the route unforgiving. For fit walkers, though, it is one of the best ways to see that Benidorm sits at the edge of a much wilder landscape.
