Intempo is the skyscraper that most visibly announces modern Benidorm from the western end of town. Its twin residential towers rise behind Poniente Beach, joined near the top by a diamond-shaped bridge and finished in a gold-toned facade that catches the sun in a way few buildings here can ignore.
You do not visit Intempo for interiors; the point is the skyline. It is a useful architectural counterpoint to Benidorm's older resort image, showing how the city has embraced high-rise density more completely than almost anywhere else on the Spanish coast. The best views are from the beach promenade or from the roads approaching Poniente.
