Punta Calfani is the rocky headland that splits Benidorm's long shore into Poniente and Levante beaches. It was once used for coastal defence against pirates; today the point is mainly worth the short walk for the open sea views and the contrast between the two bays.
Come near sunset or while exploring the old town lanes above the water. The stop is brief, but the view explains Benidorm's geography better than a map.
