Tossal de la Cala is the low hill at the western end of Benidorm, where archaeological remains share space with one of the city's better coastal viewpoints. The site preserves traces of an ancient Iberian settlement, giving a little historical depth to a town better known for beaches and towers.
The climb is short but exposed, and the reward is a wide view over Poniente Beach, the skyline, and the curve of the bay. It works well near sunset or as a quiet counterpoint to the resort center.
