A striking limestone tooth on the ridge between Verbier and the Rhône Valley. The summit is reached by a steel staircase and a final fixed ladder bolted to the rock — straightforward in dry conditions and an exhilarating end to an otherwise easy hike from La Croix de Coeur.
The view from the top, over the Val de Bagnes on one side and the Rhône Valley on the other, is one of the best in the Verbier area. Allow 2–3 hours round-trip from the top of the Savoleyres chairlift. Not recommended in wet or icy conditions.
