Preston's sights cluster tightly around the Market Square and the streets immediately around it — the Harris Museum, the cenotaph, the Victorian arcades, the medieval church. Walk east a few minutes to find the brutalist Bus Station; south to Winckley Square and Avenham Park; west down to the river and the Ribble Steam Railway at the docks.
