Teuchters Landing ('teuchter' is Scots for a Highlander, used affectionately in this context) is a pub in a converted waiting room on the old Leith docks, with a floating pontoon outside that is one of the city's most enjoyable outdoor drinking spots on a summer evening. The whisky list is extensive and well-chosen, with an emphasis on Highland and Island malts; the bar also serves a range of Scottish craft ales. Food is good pub fare with a Scottish accent. The combination of water views and a serious drinks selection makes it one of the better Leith pubs.
