Bell Park

Bell Park stretches along the western shore of Ramsey Lake, just south of downtown — a long ribbon of green with a paved boardwalk running its full length. Locals come here to walk, run, cycle, swim from the small beach, or sit at one of the lookouts watching paddleboarders cross the lake.

The annual Northern Lights Festival Boréal — Canada's oldest folk festival — has been held here every July since 1972. The amphitheatre at the south end hosts free concerts most summer evenings, and the path links up to the Junction Creek Waterway trail and the campus of Laurentian University.
