The civic square at the heart of downtown, ringed by the brutalist municipal complex that houses Sudbury's city hall. It is a busy public space in summer, with a farmers' market on Thursdays, lunchtime concerts, and food trucks lining Brady Street.
Architecturally it is more dutiful than charming, but the square has become a working downtown meeting place — a useful pause point between the Art Gallery of Sudbury, the bars along Elgin Street, and the lake.
