Sahuaro Ranch Park preserves part of a historic ranch in Glendale, with original buildings, orchards, a rose garden, and shaded lawns. The ranch dates from the late 19th century, when irrigation made this part of the Salt River Valley farmable.
It is a calmer West Valley stop than the sports and shopping complexes nearby. Come for a walk through the grounds and, when available, a tour of the historic buildings.
