The Hawaii State Art Museum displays work by Hawaii artists in a restored historic building downtown. Permanent and rotating galleries cover contemporary and traditional visual art, and the museum sometimes hosts concerts on the lawn.
It is a good downtown stop when paired with the capitol district or Iolani Palace area.
