Frankie's Tiki Room is exactly the kind of bar you want to find in Las Vegas: dim, weird, and open 24 hours. The interior was designed by tiki royalty Bamboo Ben and packs decades of mid-century tropical kitsch into a small room — black-light puffer-fish lamps, carved tiki figures, lava-rock walls, and a thatched ceiling, all sealed against the desert sun.
The drinks are taken seriously. Each is served in a custom souvenir mug you can buy at the bar; the rotating menu is the work of veteran tiki bartenders and tilts strong, sweet, and on-theme. Order a Lava Letch if you want to set off the bar's volcano effect — the bartender pulls a trigger that erupts the bar's centrepiece. Off-Strip, west of downtown, and locals' favourite for a reason.
