Pinball Hall of Fame

Largest playable pinball collection in the world

Address 4925 Las Vegas Blvd South

The Pinball Hall of Fame is the world's largest playable pinball collection, and the key word is playable — every machine on the floor is wired up and ready for a coin. Around 200 pinball machines and another 50 vintage arcade games sit in rows under fluorescent lights, no fancy lighting or interpretation. Most plays are 25 to 75 cents. Bring quarters or use the change machine.

The collection spans the 1950s through to modern Stern releases, with strong representation of 1980s and 1990s titles. The newer building sits at the south end of the Strip, walkable from the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign. Free admission. It is genuinely one of the best off-Strip attractions, regardless of whether you grew up playing pinball — you will leave with sore wrists and a much-emptier pocket of change.

A story
Founder Tim Arnold owns one of the largest private pinball collections in the world. The museum is a nonprofit — any profit goes to the Salvation Army, which Arnold has insisted on since opening in 2006.
