Collins Beach is a sandy Columbia River beach on Sauvie Island, northwest of Portland. It feels more rural than urban, with a long strip of riverfront backed by trees and island farmland rather than city parks.
The northern end is clothing optional, so choose your stretch of sand with that in mind. Bring what you need for the day; this is a simple river beach, not a serviced resort beach.
