Fishing Bridge crosses the Yellowstone River where it leaves Yellowstone Lake. The current bridge dates from 1937, replacing an earlier log bridge from the early 1900s.
Fishing from the bridge has been closed since 1973 to protect spawning cutthroat trout, but the bridge remains a good place to pause for river and lake views and to look for fish in the clear water below.
