Terrace Springs is a small thermal area just north of Madison Junction in Yellowstone National Park. A short boardwalk gives a close look at hot springs and mineral terraces without the crowds or scale of the park's famous geyser basins.
It is best treated as a quick stop while driving between Madison and Norris or the west entrance. Stay on the boardwalk: the ground around Yellowstone thermal features is thin and dangerous.
