Housed in the former palace of Emperor Haile Selassie on the Addis Ababa University campus, the Ethnological Museum is one of the best museums in Africa. The exhibits cover Ethiopian culture in depth: traditional games, body art, medicines, music, religion, nomadic customs, and burial rites. Several rooms have been preserved in their original palatial state. Bring ID, as the university campus requires it for entry.
