Tangier's Plaza de Toros is a strange survivor: a Spanish-built bullring from the mid-twentieth century, long unused and now more atmospheric relic than active venue. Its circular form still reads clearly from the street, a reminder of the city's Spanish connections and international-era eccentricity.
Access can be limited, so treat it as an exterior stop unless local conditions say otherwise. It is worth a look for architecture and Tangier history enthusiasts, especially when combined with Ville Nouvelle and the city's other twentieth-century landmarks.
