Sidi Bou Abib Mosque stands beside the Grand Socco, where Tangier's old medina meets the newer city. Built in 1917, it is known for its tiled minaret and the way it frames one of the busiest public spaces in town.
Non-Muslim visitors should expect to admire it from outside. It is an easy architectural stop while walking between the Grand Socco, the medina, and the nearby market streets.
