Kapileswar Temple is one of the larger temple complexes around Bhubaneswar, with more than thirty shrines and the Manikarnika tank. The 14th-century main temple is tied to the Lingaraj Temple tradition and is a useful stop for seeing the spread of old temple architecture beyond Bhubaneswar's best-known monuments.
