Purbeswara Temple is a small Shaivite temple in Bhubaneswar's old temple zone. It follows the classic Odia pairing of a jagamohana hall and vimana tower, though the upper part of the tower has collapsed and the Shiva lingam was later moved into the hall.
The temple is most interesting for its carved exterior walls and for how clearly it shows the dense, layered temple landscape around the old city.
