Bhubaneswar's great attraction is its temples. The Lingaraj Temple is the finest example of Kalinga architecture in the city, its towering spire dominating the skyline. Non-Hindus cannot enter but can view it from a platform. The Rajarani Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, and Parasurameswara Temple are all open to visitors and showcase the evolution of Odishan temple building over several centuries. Beyond the temples, the Odisha State Museum and the planetarium round out a full day of sightseeing.
