The Lakshmaneshwar, Bharateshwar, and Satrughaneswara temples form a small early temple group in Bhubaneswar, close to the city's better-known sacred core. They are not as grand as Lingaraja or as polished as later monuments, but their age and compact forms make them important in the development of Odisha temple architecture.
Visit them as part of a slow temple walk rather than as a standalone destination. Their value is cumulative: each smaller shrine helps explain how Bhubaneswar became one of India's great temple cities.
