Lakhyeswara Temple is a small 13th-century Shiva temple in Bhubaneswar's old sacred district. Only the main shrine remains intact; the former assembly hall has collapsed, leaving traces on the ground.
Its appeal is as part of a temple walk around the Lingaraja area, where smaller shrines help show the density and variety of Bhubaneswar's Kalinga architecture.
