The Sei Alalak Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge crossing the Alalak River in the northern part of Banjarmasin, completed in 2021. It has a distinctive curved pylon design that makes it one of the most visually striking pieces of infrastructure in South Kalimantan. The bridge has become a popular photography spot, particularly at night when it is illuminated.
For travellers, it's of interest mainly as a viewpoint and a sign of the rapid infrastructure development transforming Banjarmasin from a river-dependent city into a modern urban centre. The bridge design was a deliberate statement — the curved pylon references the shape of traditional Banjar architecture. It can be seen from the main road north of the city centre.
