F-6 is the diplomatic and old-money sector — wide streets of low villas, mature pines, embassies on every other block. Its commercial centre is the Kohsar Market, which has the city's most upmarket coffee shops and the principal source of imported groceries (the Hyperstar supermarket). Lots of leafy walking; the most pleasant residential sector to wander.
Several major embassies are here — Britain, the United States, France — which means more police checkpoints than the rest of the city. Carry your passport.
