The Pak-China Friendship Centre is a 2,000-seat conference and performing-arts venue on Constitution Avenue, a 2010 gift from the Chinese government and one of the most visible monuments to the Pakistan-China alliance. The building is a long pillared hall in modernist Chinese style, with sweeping eaves and red-and-gold detailing.
It hosts state functions, classical concerts, theatre and the occasional film festival. The exterior is open to walk around; the interior is accessible only with a ticket to a specific event.
