Jinnah Convention Centre

Address Constitution Avenue

The Jinnah Convention Centre is the principal large venue in Islamabad — a 1,500-seat auditorium plus exhibition halls and conference rooms — used for state functions, international summits and the occasional concert. The building, opened in 1997, is a striking white modernist structure with a sweeping curved roof loosely inspired by tribal tents.

The grounds in front of the centre form one of the more open public spaces in the Red Zone and are worth a wander when there is no event on.
