A glass-walled cocktail bar wrapped around the upper level of Brooke Street Pier, with views straight up the harbour to Mount Wellington. The cocktail list is creative and well-executed, with a long section dedicated to Tasmanian spirits — Lark and Sullivans Cove single malts, Hartshorn vodka, McHenry gin. Snacks (oysters, charcuterie, smoked fish) come from the pier's produce hall below.
The view does the work. The bar fills early on warm evenings; book a window seat for sunset. The downside is the price (cocktails sit around AU$24), but for the view it is fair. Smart-casual dress.
