Goldbichl

Goldbichl is a wooded hill near Igls with one of Tyrol's most important prehistoric archaeological sites. It was used as a place of worship from the Bronze Age, with traces of terraces, ramparts, ritual fires, and later Iron Age occupation. A short archaeological trail climbs to the summit, making it an easy history-focused walk outside Innsbruck.
