The Hofgarten is Innsbruck's old court garden, a green pocket beside the Hofburg and close to the old town's busiest sights. Mature trees, lawns, paths, and garden structures make it one of the easiest places to pause between museums and churches.
Its value is partly practical: it gives central Innsbruck breathing room. Use it before or after the Hofkirche, the Imperial Palace, or a walk toward the river.
