Wilten Abbey is the monastic complex behind one of Innsbruck's oldest religious institutions, standing south of the old town near the better-known Wilten Basilica. The abbey buildings add context to the basilica and to the long religious history of this part of the city.
It is a quieter stop than the Golden Roof or Hofburg, but worthwhile if you are walking toward Bergisel or exploring beyond the historic center. Check current access, as active religious sites do not always keep museum-style visitor hours.
