Baku Crystal Hall

The Crystal Hall is a 25,000-seat arena at the southern end of the Baku Boulevard, built in eight months in 2011-12 to host the Eurovision Song Contest. Its faceted glass and steel facade lights up at night, and it now serves mainly as a concert venue for international touring acts.

There is little to see inside unless an event is on, but the building forms part of the seafront skyline and is a natural turning point for a walk along the boulevard. The bay walk between here and the city centre is one of the more pleasant strolls in Baku, particularly at sunset.
